Clients send clear pictures to ZMS to analyse the project feasibility. Pictures should be able to show us the part-number on the main chip. ZMS engineers will confirm if the main chips can be decode or not.
After confirmed, the main chips can be decryption, clients need to confirm to us what files dose they needs, becuase every customer has different intentions. Such as: Firmware, Schematic, Gerber files, Bom list. But if you don't need to change anything in the future, schematic is not needed.
After the quotation was accepted, the Client shall provide us with at least 2 pcs sample boards, one will be damaged in the reverse engineering process, and another will be used to verify the correction.
After we get the PCBA boards, firmware decryption is the first thing we need to do, we will installed a new chip with firmware uploaded on the original board and send back the board to client for functional veritifications. (If the chip model was grinded off to protect the property, we need to cut off the chip to analyse the part-number before decoding the firmware).
After our clients confirmed the boards were working well, we will go ahead to the next step, to copy the Bom list and the PCB and make 1-3 protptypes for clients for test.
After our clients confirm the new prototypes are working well, we can go ahead with PCBA productions.

Are all the circuit boards able to be copied successfully?
Copy the Gerber files and Bom list as well as the schematic diagram is 100% guranteed success.
But chip decryption is not 100% guaranteed success, usually depends on the experience of the decode engineer, for common chips would have much more successful experiences. -
If the PCBA reverse engineering is not successful, would you return our money?
Before chip decryption, we will check the exact part-number with engineers. If they confirm it can be decoded, we will have a higher success rate.
But we still start with chip decryption, and install a new chip on the original board for clients to verify the functions. If something is wrong, we will keep decoding it and test it again; if we confirm the decryption has failed, we will return the money to the client and stop decoding or PCBA copying.So it is important that the client should cooperate well with us and tell us if the chip is working good, if confirmed good, we can send out the firmware to our client, this is also the end of the decoding job. -
Would you offer us all the reverse engineering documents?
Some of the company may choose not offering becuase they want to have the right of production for the clients. But Zero Mistake Solution does, if you pay for the decryption and reverse engineering cost for the PCBA, the production files should belong to our clients.

Do we have to produce the PCBA with Zero Mistake Solutions after done reverse engineering?
To be honest, we want to keep cooperating with our clients in production after doing reverse engineering for the PCBA. But our clients have the right to choose the most reasonable manufacturer on the market and let us know how to improve our cost.
But we would prefer to help those customers choose Zero Mistake Solution as their PCBA production partner and have a certain production plan.
